Kia Telluride size next to the new Palisade, EV9 and other three-row SUVs

The Kia Telluride is 5060 mm long. The Hyundai Palisade differs by 0 mm in length, so the two sheets match on length. The Kia EV9 differs by −50 mm in length. All three are longer than the UK bay preset used below.

How to read this table

The first row is the base. A delta is the other car minus that Telluride. Width excludes mirrors. Height is to the roof. Wheelbase is the distance between the axles. Two rows can share a name. The year token is what separates them. The figures are the sheets' figures.

The base is the Kia Telluride. The catalogue year is 2026. The dimensions come from Kia's media specifications for the model year after that label, converted from inches, and this guide does not relabel the row. The Hyundai Palisade row is one Palisade sheet. The catalogue holds several Palisade sheets. The others are not linked. Their boot figures are not compared here, and this guide does not claim every Palisade sheet is a copy of this one's length. The last row is the previous Kia Telluride, model year 2024.

Palisade

The Hyundai Palisade differs by 0 mm in length, −9 mm in width, +40 mm in height and +1 mm in wheelbase. The model year on this sheet is 2024. Length matches. Width is slightly narrower. Height is taller, and it is the tallest car in the table. Wheelbase is effectively the same. On a driveway these two occupy the same length of kerb. The ceiling notices the Palisade's extra height.

EV9

The Kia EV9 differs by −50 mm in length, −9 mm in width, −10 mm in height and +131 mm in wheelbase. The model year is 2023. It is shorter, a little narrower and a little lower, with a longer wheelbase. A shorter bumper-to-bumper car can still have more distance between the axles. The EV9 is still a large three-row body. The pair page is linked.

Grand Highlander, Atlas and CX-90

The Toyota Grand Highlander differs by +56 mm in length, 0 mm in width, +16 mm in height and −20 mm in wheelbase. The model year is 2024. Width matches the Telluride. Length is a step longer, height a little taller, wheelbase a little shorter. The door gap does not change. The bumpers do.

The Volkswagen Atlas differs by +37 mm in length, +1 mm in width, +16 mm in height and +11 mm in wheelbase. The model year is 2023. It is longer, barely wider and a little taller, with a slightly longer wheelbase. On height it sits with the Grand Highlander.

The Mazda CX-90 differs by +60 mm in length, +5 mm in width, −20 mm in height and +151 mm in wheelbase. The model year is 2023. It is the longest car in the table and the widest, and it has the longest wheelbase. It is also the lowest. The wheelbase gap is the large one.

The previous Telluride

The Kia Telluride differs by −60 mm in length, +1 mm in width, −15 mm in height and −69 mm in wheelbase. Both rows render as the same name. The year is what separates them: 2024 against 2026. The newer sheet is longer, slightly narrower and taller, with a longer wheelbase. The previous sheet is the shortest car in the table, which is a useful check on the word large. Even that shorter Telluride is a long three-row body. The deltas above are a longer wheelbase and a longer body, not a new width class.

A UK garage bay

The UK preset is 5000 mm long, 2500 mm wide and 2100 mm high. The door rule is 300 mm on each side. The walkway rule is 600 mm of spare length. Mirrors are excluded, and the 220 mm allowance is not added.

The Kia Telluride spare length is −60 mm, the side gap is 255.5 mm and the spare height is 335 mm. A negative spare length means the car is longer than the preset. The Hyundai Palisade spare length is −60 mm and the side gap is 260 mm. The Kia EV9 spare length is −10 mm and the side gap is 260 mm. All three miss the door rule, and all three are longer than the UK preset. The single-car preset is 6706 mm by 3658 mm by 2438 mm. On it the Telluride's spare length is 1646 mm and its side gap is 834.5 mm. The Palisade's spare length is 1646 mm. The EV9's spare length is 1696 mm.

Kia Telluride misses the 300 mm door rule by 44.5 mm; Hyundai Palisade misses the 300 mm door rule by 40 mm; Kia EV9 misses the 300 mm door rule by 40 mm.

What the figures do not say

Boots are not compared. Three-row sheets mix seats-up figures with other cargo bases, and the Palisade sheets in the catalogue do not even agree with each other. Use the model page. Turning figures are not cited. The sheets do not measure them on one basis.

The Telluride row keeps the catalogue year rather than the model year printed on the media specifications page. Width excludes mirrors. A car that is already longer than the UK preset does not become a city car if a different sheet shaves a little off the length. Price, seating comfort and which powertrain is fitted are outside this comparison.

The UK preset is 5000 mm long, 2500 mm wide and 2100 mm high. Door clearance is the bay width minus the car width, halved. Doors are clear at 300 mm or more on each side. The rear walkway is clear at 600 mm or more of spare length. Official width excludes mirrors. The tool's mirror allowance is 220 mm on each side, and this table does not add that allowance.
