How we source car dimensions

This page says where a dimension comes from and what each figure means.

Manufacturer specification sheets come first. When a maker sheet does not state a figure, the page may cite a reputable specification publication that does.

Length is the published overall length.

Width is the body, without mirrors. Mirrors sit outside that measurement.

Height is the published height.

Wheelbase is the published distance between the axles.

Kerb weight is the published kerb or unladen weight.

Boot volume is the published luggage figure, in litres.

A figure that no published page states is left blank. It is not guessed or estimated.

The pictures are illustrative AI-generated studio plates for that model and year. They are not photographs from the manufacturer, as the About page explains.

To report an error, email [email protected] with the car, the year, and the figure.
