Dacia Spring 2019–2024 dimensions, boot 308 L

Boot space with the seats up is 308 litres.

Dacia Spring 2019–2024 car dimensions: 3734 mm long, 1579 mm wide and 1516 mm high. Unladen weight is 970 kg. Boot space with the seats up is 308 litres.

The cabin seats four with basic hard plastics and a high driving position. Higher trims add a 7-inch or 10-inch touchscreen with wired or wireless phone mirroring, manual air conditioning, cruise control, rear parking sensors and a reversing camera. Automatic emergency braking comes standard across the range, while lane keep assist appears on later models in the generation. Driver aids stay simple for city use.

Boot space starts at 308 litres with seats up and reaches 1004 litres with the rear bench folded. The single-piece rear seat fold and high load lip suit light shopping or weekend bags more than large loads.

Towing is not offered on this model. Payload sits around 330-380 kg depending on version, enough for light personal loads but limited for heavy work. A separate Cargo van version removes rear seats for more volume and similar payload aimed at urban deliveries.

The cabin is basic and functional with fabric or mixed TEP-fabric seats that adjust manually, including height on the driver side in some versions. Manual air conditioning with recirculation is fitted on Expression and higher grades. Electric front windows are standard, with rear ones on Extreme. A 7-inch digital instrument cluster shows battery and range data, while higher trims add a 10-inch touchscreen. Storage is practical with up to 32 litres of cubbies plus a folding rear bench. Hard plastics dominate but the EV cabin stays quiet for city use, with remote climate preconditioning via the MY Dacia app on connected models.

The Spring runs solely on electricity from its compact lithium-ion pack. Official WLTP figures list combined consumption near 135-145 Wh/km with a top speed of 125 km/h. Range suits short urban trips, and Mode B regenerative braking helps reclaim energy on the go. Charging options include domestic AC up to 7 kW and optional DC rapid up to 30-40 kW for 20-80% in under an hour.

Servicing stays straightforward for an EV. Manufacturers recommend an annual check or every 15,000-30,000 km depending on market, covering brakes, tyres, electrics and battery diagnostics. No oil changes are needed. Dacia offers service plans and the Zen programme that can extend overall cover when work stays in the network.

Safety kit starts with six airbags, ABS, ESP, hill-start assist and automatic emergency braking. Later cars in the generation add lane-keeping assist, driver attention warning, traffic-sign recognition and the My Safety button to customise aids. The 2021 Euro NCAP test scored one star overall. ISOFIX points and tyre-pressure monitoring are standard. eCall is fitted for emergency alerts.

Living with the car means simple ownership focused on city duties. The light kerb weight and efficient pack keep running costs low. Remote app features handle charge scheduling and cabin preconditioning. A three-year vehicle warranty pairs with the longer battery cover, and accessories like a frunk tray or YouClip mounts add practical storage without complexity.
