The Ultimate cabin has a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus a matching digital cluster and head-up display. The driver’s seat is 8-way power adjustable with memory. the passenger is 4-way. Dual-zone climate control, heated leather-effect steering wheel, heated soundproofed windscreen and acoustic laminated side glass keep things quiet and warm. Ambient lighting and a frameless auto-dimming mirror finish the space. An electric slide/tilt glass sunroof is a paid option.

The Astra Electric Ultimate runs a 156 hp motor and 58 kWh battery for a WLTP range of 280 miles and efficiency of 4.1-4.2 miles per kWh. DC rapid charging hits 100 kW for 20-80% in 32 minutes. the 11 kW onboard charger needs about 3 hours 20 minutes for the same on AC. Heat pump and preconditioning are fitted. Vehicle-to-load is standard.
Service starts with an inspection at 8,000 miles or one year, then every 16,000 miles or two years. The car carries a three-year/60,000-mile warranty. The battery is covered for eight years or 100,000 miles guaranteeing at least 70% capacity.
Euro NCAP awarded the Astra four stars in 2022. Ultimate equips Intelli-Lux HD headlights plus the full Intelli-Drive suite of blind-spot, lane-change and cross-traffic aids on top of standard automatic emergency braking, lane keep, traffic-sign recognition, drowsiness alert, adaptive cruise and eight airbags. ISOFIX is on the outer rear seats.
