The cabin focuses on the driver with supportive GR sports seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and dual-zone automatic climate control as standard. Frameless doors and soft-touch surfaces give a premium feel while aluminium pedals and a raised short-throw gear lever sit close to hand. The carbon-fibre polymer roof keeps the space light and airy without a panoramic option.

The GR Yaris runs on premium unleaded fuel from its 50-litre tank. Official combined figures sit in the low-to-mid 30s mpg range depending on market and transmission, rising on steady motorway runs and falling when driven hard.
Service intervals are every six months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first, with oil and filter changes using 0W-20 specification fluid. Dealer servicing can extend the standard warranty cover.
Toyota Safety Sense is fitted as standard across the range and includes pre-collision braking, lane-keeping and adaptive cruise functions. The car has not received its own Euro NCAP or ANCAP star rating because of low production volume and its unique structure.
Hand-built construction and Toyota reliability make the car straightforward to keep. Expect more frequent tyre and brake attention if used on track or driven enthusiastically, but routine maintenance stays simple.
