Power comes solely from a 50 kWh lithium-ion battery driving a 100 kW electric motor. Official combined consumption sits around 18-21 kWh/100 km depending on body length and options, with zero tailpipe CO2. A heat pump on higher grades helps preserve range in cold weather.
Toyota Safety Sense is fitted across the range and covers autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping, traffic-sign recognition and driver attention alerts. Six SRS airbags including curtains protect occupants. The shared platform earned four Euro NCAP stars in 2018 testing, a result that has since expired under current protocols.
