The cabin is simple and functional with hard-wearing materials and large physical controls suited to gloves. Higher grades get a 7-inch infrared touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and navigation plus automatic climate control. Cruise control is standard. Dual Sensor Brake Support provides automatic emergency braking as standard, along with lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, high-beam assist and driver attention alert. There is no lane keep assist, reverse camera or parking sensors from the factory.
Boot space is limited with the rear seats up at 85 litres. Fold them and capacity rises to 377 litres to the window line or a maximum 830 litres to the roof. The load floor and seat backs are plastic-coated for easy cleaning, with tie-down points and a 12V socket.

The cabin uses simple durable plastics and fabrics that clean easily after off-road use. Front seats offer basic manual adjustment and decent support for long drives. Higher grades add heated front seats, automatic climate control, a leather-trimmed height-adjustable steering wheel and a 7-inch touchscreen with smartphone links. Rear seats fold fully flat to create a practical load floor. The overall feel is purposeful and vibration-reduced rather than plush.
