Subaru XV 2017–2020 car dimensions: 4465 mm long, 1800 mm wide and 1595 mm high. Unladen weight is 1,408 kg. Braked towing is 1,400 kg.
The 1.6i Trend comes with a 6.5-inch touchscreen audio system that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Automatic climate control is fitted across the board. Eyesight driver aids are standard and deliver adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and active lane keep assist with steering support. Parking sensors are optional from spring 2018. Blind-spot warning with lane-change and rear cross-traffic alert plus a reversing camera appear only on higher grades.
Boot volume is 385 litres with seats up and expands to 1310 litres with the rear seats folded. The space is practical for everyday loads but remains compact for a crossover.
Braked towing capacity reaches 1400 kg and unbraked capacity is 750 kg. Payload stands at 532 kg. The permanent all-wheel drive and standard X-Mode support light work and leisure use on mixed surfaces, though no heavy-duty cooling or reinforced suspension packages are listed for this model.
The cabin uses contoured cloth seats with orange contrast stitching and a raised hip point for clear outward vision. Front heated seats and single-zone automatic climate control come standard on Trend. Soft-touch surfaces and tidy switchgear give a solid everyday feel. Rear space is average for the class with a fold-down centre armrest and cupholders. An electric glass sunroof and eight-way power driver seat appear only on higher grades.
