Higher trims add a panoramic view monitor and advanced park assist.
Cargo volume is 31.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats and expands to 74.0 cubic feet with the 60/40 split rear seats folded. Models with the panoramic roof drop to 30.4 cubic feet seats up and 71.8 cubic feet seats down. A power rear gate is standard, with hands-free operation and a 120V outlet available on higher trims.
Towing capacity reaches 3500 pounds. Standard raised roof rails support 700 pounds static load for rooftop gear or tents. Dual-function X-MODE with grip control and downhill assist is standard for light off-road or rough-road work use.
The cabin feels open and roomy for five with soft-touch surfaces and durable StarTex upholstery. Sound-insulating glass on the windshield and front doors keeps things quiet. A 10-way power driver seat with lumbar and memory is standard, heated fronts come on every trim, and dual-zone climate control handles temperature. Higher grades add power passenger seat, heated rears, ventilated fronts with radiant leg heaters, and a panoramic glass roof with motorized shade for more light and airiness. Seats support well on long drives with good rear legroom and reclining split-fold backs.

This is a pure EV with a 74.7-kWh battery. Premium trim with 18-inch wheels reaches 281 miles EPA range while Limited and Touring with 20-inch wheels are rated at 274 miles. Combined MPGe sits at 117 for Premium and 114 for the others. Standard NACS port opens Tesla Superchargers plus other networks, with battery preconditioning to hold charge speeds in cold weather. Level 2 onboard charger is 11 kW.
As an EV there are no oil changes. Focus falls on tire rotations every 6,000 miles because of the weight and instant torque, cabin filter swaps around 12,000 miles, brake fluid at 30,000 miles, and coolant service much later near 150,000 miles. Annual underbody checks help protect the battery pack, especially if you use the 8.5 inches of ground clearance off-road. X-MODE and regenerative braking modes reduce wear on friction brakes.
Safety starts with standard EyeSight Driver Assist covering emergency steering, intersection support, distraction mitigation, traffic jam assist, and more. Blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit assist, and parking support brake are on every model. Limited and Touring add a 360-degree panoramic view monitor. IIHS gives Good for side and front crash prevention with Acceptable for the frontal overlap tests. NHTSA has only a 4-star rollover so far.
Living with the Trailseeker means simple charging habits and regular tire care to keep range and ride quality high. Subaru’s longevity record shows most vehicles still on the road after a decade. Standard power rear gate, roof rails rated for 700 pounds static, and available 120V cargo outlet support daily use and adventure loading without fuss.
