Real-world use sits higher, often 8-11 litres depending on load and speed. An 80-litre tank supports long range between fills.
Service intervals call for engine oil and filter every 15,000 km or annually. Other fluids and filters follow longer cycles such as 30,000 or 60,000 km. The five-year/100,000 km warranty covers the car from new.
Safety kit includes dual front airbags plus side airbags, full ESP package with active roll protection, ABS and traction aids, plus ISOFIX anchors on the second-row seats. No curtain airbags or Euro NCAP score exists for this generation.
Living with the Rodius centres on its vast, modular interior and simple rear-drive or part-time 4WD layout. Parts and servicing stay straightforward at SsangYong dealers. the diesel needs regular filter attention but the Mercedes-sourced auto option is durable.
