Renault Zoe 2019–2024 dimensions, boot 338 L

Boot space with the seats up is 338 litres.

Renault Zoe 2019–2024 car dimensions: 4087 mm long, 1787 mm wide and 1562 mm high. Unladen weight is 1,502 kg. Boot space with the seats up is 338 litres.

The cabin has a 7-inch or 9.3-inch Easy Link touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard, plus a 10-inch digital driver display. Base trims use manual air conditioning while higher ones add automatic climate control with eco mode. Cruise control with speed limiter is standard. Parking sensors start as rear-only on mid trims and become front and rear higher up, with reversing camera and easy park assist on upper grades or packs. Lane departure warning, lane keep assist and blind spot warning appear on higher trims or as options. Automatic emergency braking was optional early in the run and became standard later.

Boot space is 338 litres with seats up and rises to 1225 litres with the rear bench folded. The load floor sits high due to the battery pack and is not fully flat when seats are down.

Towing is not authorised for either braked or unbraked trailers. Payload reaches 486 kg on higher trims with options. As a small electric hatchback the car suits light urban duties rather than heavy work loads.

The cabin feels quiet and refined thanks to the electric drivetrain and acoustic windscreen. Soft-touch plastics and recycled fabric upholstery on higher grades create a warm feel, with automatic climate control standard. Heated front seats and steering wheel appear on most trims or as packs. Seats offer basic manual adjustment for reach and recline, with good space for a small hatch and a supportive ride.

Fully electric with zero tailpipe emissions

Service interval annual or every 30,000 km / 18,000 miles

Euro NCAP 0 stars (2021 test)

Standard ABS, ESP, front and side airbags

AEB, lane keep assist and blind spot monitoring standard from early 2022

The Zoe runs purely on electricity from its 52 kWh battery. Official WLTP range reaches up to 395 km depending on motor and wheels, with real-world summer figures around 300-350 km and lower in winter. Energy use sits near 17 kWh/100 km in mixed conditions. Preconditioning via the app or screen while plugged in helps preserve range.

Servicing is straightforward for an EV. Intervals fall every year or 30,000 km, focusing on brakes, cabin filter, tyres and high-voltage system checks. No oil changes are needed. Costs stay low compared with combustion cars, and Renault offers fixed-price plans covering several years.

Safety kit includes ABS with emergency brake assist, ESP, front and side airbags, tyre pressure monitoring and ISOFIX. Later cars gained standard automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring and traffic sign recognition. The 2021 Euro NCAP retest scored 0 stars due to updated protocols and missing head protection airbags plus optional AEB at the time of testing.

Day-to-day ownership is simple. The battery carries an 8-year/160,000 km warranty in many markets. Cabin preconditioning, scheduled charging and the My Renault app make living with the car easy. Regenerative braking reduces brake wear. Keep software updated and check the 12 V battery regularly.
