The cabin has a 12-inch openR link touchscreen with Google built-in on most grades, plus wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard. The Scenic E-Tech runs purely on electricity with two battery options. The long-range 87 kWh version delivers up to 379 miles WLTP while the comfort-range 60 kWh reaches around 260 miles. A heat pump is fitted as standard to help maintain range in colder weather. DC rapid charging peaks at 150 kW.
Servicing is needed every two years or 18,000 miles, whichever comes first. Fixed-price service plans are available. As an electric vehicle there is no engine oil change, though brake fluid and cabin filter checks remain part of routine care.
It earned a full five-star Euro NCAP rating. Adult occupant protection scored 88 percent and child protection 89 percent. Standard equipment includes active emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, contextual adaptive cruise control, emergency lane keeping, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert and driver attention monitoring.
