The dual-motor long-range version uses a 78 kWh battery for 650 km CLTC range. Energy use sits near 13.5 kWh/100 km. DC charging reaches 155 kW for a 10-80% top-up in 34 minutes, while AC full charge takes about 8 hours.
Service needs stay low. The car normally requires no maintenance within 1 year or 30,000 km. On-board diagnostics alert when checks are due. Access to hundreds of service points comes via the Volvo network for any repairs or OTA updates.
Safety hardware includes a boron-steel cage, 8 airbags, seat-belt pretensioners and load limiters, plus WHIPS neck protection.
