Fuel figures vary by engine. The 1.6 petrol returns 6.8 l/100 km combined. The 1.8 sits at 7.4 l/100 km manual or 8.0 l/100 km automatic. Turbo petrols use more. The 1.9 CDTI diesel is the thriftiest at 6.0 l/100 km combined with a maintenance-free particulate filter.
