As a pure EV the Ariya uses no liquid fuel. Battery options are roughly 63 kWh or 87 kWh usable, delivering WLTP ranges from around 250 miles on the smaller pack to over 300 miles on the larger, with dual-motor e-4ORCE versions a little less. Efficiency sits in the mid-to-high teens kWh/100 km depending on version and conditions. a heat pump is widely fitted to help preserve range in cold weather. DC fast charging reaches about 130 kW.
Servicing is lighter than a combustion car. Intervals are typically 12 months or 18,000-20,000 km. Items focus on tyres, brakes, cabin filter, brake fluid and inspections of suspension, driveshafts and (on AWD) rear transaxle oil. No engine oil changes are needed. Coolant for the powertrain and battery is long-life, first replacement around 125,000 miles or 15 years in some schedules.
