The cabin has a 12.8-inch AMOLED centre touchscreen, 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and 16.3-inch HUD as standard. Smart 5-zone climate control is fitted. Driver aids include standard AEB, blind spot detection, lane keeping assist, emergency lane keeping and adaptive cruise control with pilot assist for lane centring. Advanced parking assist and 360-degree camera are standard.

The Long Range model uses a 100 kWh swappable battery with 90 kWh usable capacity. It delivers around 515 km NEDC range or up to 510 km WLTP. AC charging reaches 11 kW max while DC fast charging hits 240 kW for 10-80 percent in about 20 minutes. Battery swaps take roughly three minutes and include a health check.
Servicing occurs at NIO centers. Gearbox oil changes every 200000 km, brake fluid every three years, and coolant checks at five years or 100000 km then every two years or 40000 km. A five-year or 150000 km service contract is offered. Over-the-air updates handle software and some seat features.
Safety centers on a high-strength aluminum body using mega casting for stiffness and 50:50 weight balance. Seven airbags protect occupants. The AQUILA system with 33 sensors including long-range LiDAR supports 23 standard features such as autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, pilot assist, and advanced parking. The design targets five-star crash performance though this generation awaits official ratings. Previous NIO models scored five stars.
Living with the car means dual-chamber air suspension with continuous damping for a smooth ride across modes including comfort and easy pass. Six-piston Brembo brakes stop it firmly. Home chargers or vouchers come with purchase options, and swap stations are rolling out in the UAE for quick top-ups.
