The cabin has a 12.8-inch AMOLED centre touchscreen, 10.2-inch digital instruments and a 16-inch HUD as standard, plus a rear 6.6-inch control screen. Tri-zone automatic climate control with heat pump, PM2.5 filter, ioniser and fragrance is fitted across the range. Full-speed adaptive cruise, AEB, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist with centring, front/rear parking sensors and 360-degree camera with transparent chassis are all standard. NOMI voice control and a 23-speaker Dolby Atmos system handle everyday use. No phone projection is offered.
Boot space is 442 litres with seats up, rising to 532 litres including underfloor storage and 1449 litres with the 40/60 rear seats folded. The coupe roofline limits height but the floor is flat when folded.
A trailer mode is available with optional electric tow hitch rated at 2000 kg braked. Air suspension with CDC is standard and can raise for clearance. Payload sits around 521 kg based on 2419 kg kerb and 2940 kg gross figures. The car is not set up as a heavy work vehicle.
The cabin offers sport seats with high bolsters and flexible foam for support. Front seats have multi-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage as standard. The passenger seat includes a zero-gravity lounge mode with powered leg and foot support plus heating. Rear seats heat as standard with electric backrest angle adjust. ventilation and massage come in a package. A fixed electrochromic panoramic glass roof lets in light with UV protection and adjustable tint. Double-layer acoustic glass on front and side windows quiets the cabin. Smart fragrance system and three-zone climate with heat pump and air purification complete the setup. Heated steering wheel is standard.

The EC7 is a pure-electric coupe SUV. It uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup with 480 kW peak power. Official CLTC range reaches 635 km on the 100 kWh pack or 490 km on the 75 kWh pack. Energy use is listed around 19 kWh/100 km depending on pack. Battery is chargeable, swappable and upgradable via NIO’s network.
Servicing follows typical NIO EV schedules of inspection every year or 20 000 km. Items include cabin filter replacement, coolant and brake checks, and gearbox oil at much longer intervals. No engine oil changes are needed. Battery swap stations allow quick pack exchange instead of waiting to charge.
Safety design targets five-star ratings in China and Europe. The body mixes aluminum and high-strength steel with torsional stiffness over 40 000 Nm/deg. Standard kit includes dual front airbags, side airbags, full-length curtains, front-center airbag, ABS, ESC, tire-pressure display and ISOFIX. Aquila sensing with roof LiDAR, multiple cameras and radars supports the ADAS package including adaptive cruise and lane systems.
Keeping the car is straightforward for an EV. Soft-close doors, power tailgate and air suspension with CDC are standard. Warranties cover the vehicle for three years or 120 000 km and the battery longer for the first owner. Remote diagnostics and service booking are available through the app.
