Safety centers on the full e-Assist suite fitted to every grade: forward collision mitigation that now covers pedestrians, cyclists and junctions, pedal-misapplication prevention, lane-departure warning and prevention, automatic high beam, driver-attention alert, traffic-sign recognition and leading-car departure notice. All cars also carry front, side and curtain airbags, eight parking sensors, stability control and hill-start assist. G can add a multi-around monitor package. The body uses the RISE high-rigidity structure with pedestrian-impact protection.

Day-to-day ownership is straightforward for a tall kei wagon. Hands-free passenger-side power sliding door, approach unlock and walk-away lock on G make loading easy with arms full. The large low-floor cargo opening, under-floor box and flexible rear seats keep the car useful for shopping or family runs without special upkeep beyond normal oil and inspection intervals.
