The cabin has a 12.8-inch HD touchscreen and 10.25-inch driver display as standard, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across all grades. Dual-zone climate control with rear vents is standard. Adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking with pedestrian and bicycle detection, blind spot detection, and lane keep assist with departure warning form the MG Pilot suite on every model. The car runs fully electric on a 77 kWh pack. Single-motor versions reach 329 miles WLTP while the dual-motor drops to 301 miles. Rapid DC charging fills from 10 to 80 percent in 38 minutes at 144 kW. AC home charging takes about 12 hours on a 7 kW wallbox.
Servicing follows a simple annual schedule or every 15,000 miles. MG offers optional service plans that cover up to seven years. The car carries a 7-year or 80,000-mile warranty that transfers to new owners, with the battery separately covered for eight years.
Euro NCAP awards five stars with strong adult, child and assist scores. Every model has seven airbags including a centre bag. MG Pilot brings adaptive cruise, emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane keep, blind-spot warning and driver monitoring as standard kit.
Daily ownership stays straightforward. The frunk and 674-litre boot handle family loads. Heat-pump climate control and battery pre-conditioning cut cold-weather drain. V2L power outlets let you run external devices from the car.
