The cabin centres on a 12.8-inch HD touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital driver display, both standard, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on every model. As a pure EV the MGS5 draws power from a 49 kWh or 64 kWh battery pack. Combined efficiency sits between 15.5 and 16.6 kWh/100 km. DC rapid charging reaches 10-80 percent in 24 to 28 minutes on a suitable public charger. Vehicle-to-load lets you power external devices from the charge port.
Routine servicing falls due every 12 months or 24,000 km. The manufacturer warranty runs for 7 years or 150,000 km and covers the high-voltage battery for the same term. Roadside assistance is included for the first year and can extend with dealer servicing.
Crash testing delivered a full five-star Euro NCAP result with strong adult and child scores. Every model carries seven airbags set in a high-strength steel body.
