Early cars have a painted metal dashboard with toggle switches and twin large Smiths dials. From 1968 a padded dash with rocker switches appears. Heater and demister start as options and become standard later, with improved matrix, blower and eyeball vents added over the years. Seats are leather-faced low-back units at first, later gaining high backs and head restraints. A parcel shelf sits behind the two seats. No electronic driver aids appear in period specifications.

The roadster offers a separate boot of about 250 litres under the rear deck, plus a shelf behind the seats for smaller items. Space is useful for weekend bags but remains modest for a sports car of this size.

Maximum permissible towing weight is 762 kg with a 45 kg towbar hitch load. Payload sits around 193 kg. An oil cooler is available as an option on early cars and standard on some export models. The car is built for sports driving rather than heavy work use, though aftermarket towbars suit light trailers.

The cabin seats two low and close together with good legroom. Wind-up windows and a lockable glove box are fitted. Early seats are leather-faced and surprisingly comfortable with thin foam and fixed backs adjustable by screws. Later seats recline with optional headrests. A heater provides warmth and demisting once the engine is hot, though open-top driving means temperatures vary with weather.
