The Trophy has a 10.25-inch colour touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite navigation and DAB. Adaptive cruise control is standard along with MG Pilot aids that include active emergency braking with pedestrian and bicycle detection, lane keep assist with departure warning, traffic jam assist, intelligent speed limit assist and high beam assist. Rear parking sensors and a 360-degree parking camera are fitted. Automatic climate control with odour filter, leather-style seats, heated front seats and an electric six-way driver’s seat make the cabin practical for daily use.
Boot space is 479 litres with seats up to the load cover or 578 litres loaded to the roof. Folding the 60:40 rear seats gives 1367 litres. An adjustable dual-height boot floor is standard.
Maximum towing weight is 500 kg braked or unbraked. Gross vehicle weight is 2028 kg with a maximum tow ball weight of 50 kg and roof rail load of 75 kg. Vehicle-to-load charging is available.
The Trophy cabin uses leather-style perforated upholstery with heated front seats and a six-way electric driver's seat plus manual lumbar support. Passenger seat is four-way manual. Steering wheel is leather-trimmed with height and reach adjustment. Auto air conditioning is fitted. Rear privacy glass is standard. Space suits five adults with good head and leg room. the 60:40 split rear seats fold for a large load area. Material quality mixes soft-touch surfaces with some harder plastics. No panoramic roof or heated steering wheel.

The Long Range Trophy runs a 61.1 kWh battery (57.4 kWh usable) for a claimed 235-mile WLTP range. Efficiency is listed at 3.5 miles per kWh combined. AC charging is 7 kW. DC rapid charging reaches 87 kW for a 10-80% top-up in around 35 minutes. Vehicle-to-load charging is included.
Servicing is required every 12 months or 15,000 miles. The car carries a 7-year/80,000-mile transferable warranty. An MG service plan is available to cover scheduled maintenance.
Safety equipment centres on the standard MG Pilot suite with active emergency braking (pedestrian and bicycle detection), lane keep assist with departure warning, traffic jam assist, adaptive cruise control, intelligent speed limit assist and intelligent high beam.
