Boot space with seats up is negligible and fits only the charger or a slim laptop bag. The 50:50 split rear seats fold flat to give 350 litres.

The Comet EV runs purely on its 17.3 kWh (17.4 kWh on FC grades) lithium-ion battery for a claimed 230 km range. AC charging takes about 7 hours on 3.3 kW. FC grades cut that to 3.5 hours on 7.4 kW. Zero tailpipe emissions and low running costs suit city use.
Servicing is covered by the e-Shield package with 3 years/1 lakh km vehicle warranty, 3 years roadside assistance and 3 complimentary labour services on scheduled maintenance. Battery cover runs 8 years or 1.2 lakh km. Intervals start early then settle to annual or mileage-based checks of fluids, brakes, tyres and software.
Safety kit starts with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, three-point belts all round, ISOFIX anchors, TPMS and rear sensors. Top grades add electronic stability control, hill-hold, electronic parking brake and four-wheel discs plus a rear camera. High-strength body with 17 hot-stamped panels is claimed, but the car has no published NCAP rating.
