As a pure EV the MG4 draws power from 64kWh or 77kWh batteries. DC rapid charging takes the 64kWh pack from 10-80% in around 25 minutes at up to 154kW. A heat pump is fitted on many versions to help preserve range in cold weather. Claimed efficiency sits near 16-19kWh/100km.
Servicing follows a 12-month or 15,000-mile schedule, with digital service records available through the dealer network. MG Service Plans can cover up to seven years. The manufacturer warranty runs seven years or 80,000 miles and transfers to new owners. the high-voltage battery carries additional cover.
