Mercedes-Benz EQB 2023–2025 car dimensions: 4684 mm long, 1834 mm wide and 1654 mm high. Unladen weight is 2,105 kg. Braked towing is 1,400 kg.
The cabin features dual 10.25-inch displays in the MBUX system with a touchscreen media unit. Smartphone integration brings standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Automatic climate control is fitted, often as single-zone THERMATIC with bi-zone available on higher lines. Standard cruise control (TEMPOMAT) is present, while adaptive DISTRONIC is optional or pack-dependent. Driver aids include standard Active Brake Assist for automatic emergency braking, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and a parking package with PARKTRONIC sensors plus reversing camera. Higher packs add 360-degree cameras and active parking assist. The setup supports daily driving with clear screens, voice control via Hey Mercedes, and solid basic safety coverage without needing extras for core functions.
Boot space measures 495 litres with the rear seats up on five-seat versions and expands to 1710 litres with them folded. Seven-seat models start lower when the third row is in use but reach similar maxima when folded. The load area includes a stowage package with underfloor compartments and USB ports for practical family or shopping use.
The EQB 250+ tows up to 1400 kg braked and 750 kg unbraked with the optional trailer hitch, which includes ESP trailer stabilisation. Payload is listed at 435 kg. Comfort suspension is standard. These figures support light trailer or bike carrier duties for leisure, though dedicated heavy work use is limited by the electric setup and optional nature of the hitch.
The cabin uses soft ARTICO upholstery with star-pattern trim and 64-colour ambient lighting. Front seats are heated as standard with a comfort package adding cushion angle, depth and four-way lumbar adjustment plus power memory on many grades. Dual 10.25-inch screens and THERMATIC or THERMOTRONIC climate control keep the space quiet and easy to live with on longer trips.

The EQB 250+ is fully electric with a usable 70.5 kWh battery. Official WLTP consumption sits between roughly 15 and 17 kWh/100 km, delivering a combined range of 468-537 km. Pre-entry climate control can be set via the app so the cabin is ready without drawing from the drive battery when plugged in. DC rapid charging reaches 100 kW and takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in around 35 minutes. an 11 kW wallbox needs about 7 hours 15 minutes for a full charge.
Routine servicing is simpler than on combustion models. Intervals are typically every 10,000 miles or one year in some markets, or 15,000-25,000 km/one year in others. Checks cover the high-voltage battery, fluids, tyres and brakes. Brake fluid is changed around every two years or 20,000-50,000 km and the cabin filter at similar points. The high-voltage battery itself carries an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty against defects and capacity drop below a set threshold.
Safety equipment is comprehensive as standard. The car earned a five-star Euro NCAP rating based on the related GLB structure tested in 2019, with strong adult and child occupant scores. Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST, adaptive high-beam, multiple airbags including a driver’s knee bag, and an emergency call system are all fitted. ISOFIX points with Top Tether are provided on the outer rear seats.
Ownership is straightforward: fewer fluid changes, remote status checks via the Mercedes me app, and the ability to precondition the cabin while charging. Tyre rotation is recommended regularly because of instant torque. Keep the 12 V battery and charging cable in good condition as part of normal inspections.
