The cabin has a 12.3-inch digital driver display and 11.9-inch central touchscreen running MBUX with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual-zone THERMATIC climate control is standard along with heated front seats. Driver aids include Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist and SPEEDTRONIC cruise control. The Parking Package brings front and rear sensors plus a reversing camera, with 360-degree camera available on some packs.
Boot space is 420 litres with the seats up. The 60/40-split rear backrests fold to create a longer load bay for bulkier items, though the narrow opening limits how easily large objects go in.

The CLE 200 mild-hybrid petrol returns combined consumption of 6.5-7.1 l/100 km depending on equipment. The 48-volt system supports efficiency on longer runs.
Service needs are set by the ASSYST PLUS system. Visits alternate between Service A and B roughly every 10,000 miles or once a year, covering oil, filters, brakes and fluids.
Euro NCAP awarded five stars in 2025 with strong adult, child and assist scores. Standard safety covers automatic emergency braking, lane support, blind-spot warning, driver attention monitor, PRE-SAFE belt tensioning and a full airbag set including centre and knee bags.
