This is a pure electric saloon. The C 400 4MATIC uses a 94 kWh usable battery. Official WLTP range reaches 452 miles on the Sport trim with 19-inch wheels. Peak DC charging is 330 kW, taking the battery from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 22 minutes. An 11 kW onboard AC charger is standard.

Servicing needs are lower than a combustion car because there is no engine oil or exhaust system. Battery and high-voltage components are covered under a dedicated certificate for eight years or 100,000 miles, guaranteeing at least 70 percent capacity. Regular checks still follow the car’s service indicator.

Safety kit is comprehensive from the base Sport model. It includes the PRE-SAFE system with reversible belt tensioners, dual-stage driver and passenger airbags, a driver knee bag and window bags covering front and rear. Active Brake Assist provides autonomous emergency braking. ESP adds curve and cross-wind help. An active bonnet raises on pedestrian impact.

Living with the car centres on the long range and fast charging for fewer stops. Standard assistance systems ease motorway and city driving. The quiet cabin and electric powertrain make daily use calm. Higher trims add more comfort options but the core safety and charging features stay the same across the range.
