The cabin is a two-seater sports cockpit with dual-zone THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control and standard cruise control with SPEEDTRONIC limiter. COMAND Online delivers an 8.4-inch central display with navigation, voice control and media, operated by a rotary controller and optional touchpad. Collision Prevention Assist Plus provides standard automatic emergency braking. Parking sensors and a reversing camera with guidelines are available in packages. Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist form part of the optional Lane Tracking package.
Boot space measures 350 litres without the load cover or 285 litres with it in place. The long shallow compartment takes two golf bags and includes a retractable cover plus an aluminium brace to secure loads. There are no rear seats to fold.
The two-seat cabin mixes sporty and luxury elements with a tall centre console holding cup holders and armrest storage. High-bolstered AMG sports or performance seats with integrated head restraints deliver strong side support and come heated as standard. Memory package brings multi-way power adjustment including side bolsters, thigh support and lumbar. Dual-zone THERMOTRONIC climate control is fitted. An optional one-piece panoramic glass roof adds light and airiness while preserving headroom.

The AMG GT runs on petrol only. Official NEDC combined consumption sits at 9.3 l/100 km for the base model and 9.4 l/100 km for the S, with corresponding CO2 figures of 216-219 g/km.
Servicing is managed by the ASSYST PLUS indicator that calculates intervals from driving style and conditions. Regular qualified workshop visits keep the hand-built V8 and dual-clutch transmission in peak condition.
Safety kit starts with driver and passenger front airbags, knee bags, combined thorax/pelvis sidebags and windowbags plus belt tensioners. Active systems include ABS, ASR, ADAPTIVE BRAKE, 3-stage ESP, ATTENTION ASSIST drowsiness detection and COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS. PRE-SAFE, Lane Tracking package and Blind Spot Assist can be added.
The aluminium spaceframe, dry-sump engine and rear-mounted transaxle keep weight low and balance near ideal, making the car practical for daily use yet ready for track days when maintained correctly.
