The Quattroporte requires premium unleaded fuel. Economy figures vary by engine: early V8 models are rated 12 mpg city and 18 mpg highway, while later V6 petrol versions improve on those numbers and a diesel is offered in some markets.
Scheduled maintenance is set at every 20,000 km or two years for petrol engines. Authorized dealer service is recommended to keep the vehicle performing as intended and to protect residual value.
Safety equipment is comprehensive with multiple airbags, ABS, electronic stability and traction control, tire-pressure monitoring, parking sensors and a rear camera. The model was not subjected to Euro NCAP or NHTSA crash testing.
Ownership centers on regular servicing and attention to wear items such as brakes and tires. A typical warranty covers four years or 50,000 miles.
