Maserati Ghibli 2017– car dimensions: 4971 mm long, 1945 mm wide and 1461 mm high. Unladen weight is 1,875 kg. Boot space with the seats up is 500 litres.

The cabin centres on an 8.4-inch Maserati Touch Control Plus touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Dual-zone automatic climate control is fitted across the range. Standard cruise control is present, while front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera, blind-spot warning, lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking come in optional driver assistance packs or higher trims such as GranLusso and GranSport. The layout feels driver-focused with a 7-inch TFT display and leather finishes.

Boot space measures 500 litres with the rear seats up. The 60/40 split-folding rear bench expands the load area for longer items, with a 12V socket and optional power boot lid available.

Payload is listed at 625 kg. No official towing capacities are published for this model. Adaptive Skyhook suspension is available as an option on higher trims but is not reinforced for heavy work use. The car suits grand touring more than regular towing or payload-heavy duties.

The cabin offers hand-stitched leather seats with Trident embossing on the headrests, class-leading front legroom and space for three rear passengers on 60/40-split seats. Dual-zone automatic climate control with 13 outlets maintains comfort quickly. Base models have six-way power driver seats. GranLusso and GranSport add 12-way power comfort or sport seats with memory. Laminated acoustic glass keeps the cabin quiet on long trips. Optional heated front and rear seats plus a heated wood-rimmed steering wheel appear in packs or higher grades.

Five-star Euro NCAP rating

Maserati Stability Program and tyre-pressure monitoring standard

The 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel produces 275 hp and 600 Nm. Official combined consumption is 5.9 litres per 100 km with 158 g/km CO2. Auto Start-Stop cuts fuel use further and an Active Sound System gives the engine a distinctive note.

Diesel models need scheduled service every 20 000 km or once a year. The plan covers engine oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter at set intervals, AdBlue checks and general inspections.

The car earned a five-star Euro NCAP result. Standard kit includes seven airbags (dual-stage front, side, curtain and driver knee), electronic stability control via the Maserati Stability Program, tyre-pressure monitoring and seat-belt reminders for all seats.

A 500-litre boot and ISOFIX points aid practicality. The three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty and available maintenance packages cover routine care. Leather surfaces and the AdBlue system need regular attention to stay in good condition.
