The Core cabin has a 15.4-inch touchscreen and 10.2-inch driver display. Dual-zone automatic climate control is fitted. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included. Automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning and lane-keep assist are all standard.
Boot space measures 410 litres with seats up and expands to 1349 litres with the rear seats folded. A 15-litre frunk is also available.

The 02 Core runs purely on electricity from a 66 kWh NMC battery. WLTP range reaches 435 km with combined energy use of 17.6 kWh/100 km. DC fast charging peaks at 150 kW and takes the pack from 10 to 80 % in about 30 minutes. Onboard AC charging is limited to 11 kW.
Main service is due every 30 000 km or 24 months. Work is handled through the growing Lynk & Co network that includes over 400 points and shared Volvo facilities across Europe. The car itself signals when a visit is needed.
Euro NCAP awards five stars overall. Adult occupant protection scores 90 %, child 87 %, vulnerable road users 83 % and safety assist 89 % — the highest assist rating in its class. Standard equipment covers multiple airbags including a centre airbag, plus a full suite of active systems such as automatic emergency braking, intelligent cruise, lane keep and driver monitoring.
Vehicle cover lasts four years or 120 000 km. The high-voltage battery is warranted for eight years or 160 000 km. Remote climate control is available through the app and the car includes V2L capability. Roadside assistance is provided for the first two years.
