The cabin has a 15.1-inch OLED central touchscreen plus slim driver and passenger displays, with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard. Four-zone climate control is fitted across the range. Highway Assist is available on higher grades or as a pack on the base model.

Boot space is 509 litres with seats up in five-seat form, expanding to 1388 litres with the rear seats folded. A four-seat layout drops seats-up volume to 426 litres. There is also a small frunk of about 34 litres for cables.

Braked towing capacity is 2250 kg and unbraked is 750 kg. Payload is listed around 500 kg depending on the source figures for kerb and gross weights. Air suspension is standard but no heavy-duty cooling or reinforced setup for work use is stated.

The cabin uses high-quality Nappa leather or fabric with carbon accents and feels solidly built. Standard 8- or 12-way power front seats with heating and memory offer good support, while the Comfort Seat Pack on higher grades adds ventilation, massage and side bolsters. Four-zone climate control and a heat pump keep temperatures steady. An optional intelligent panoramic glass roof brightens the space and can switch opacity by section. Road noise control and the standard KEF audio system make long trips quiet and refined. Rear legroom suits tall adults, with optional reclining or executive seats adding further ease.

The Emeya runs purely on electricity from its 102 kWh pack. Base models claim the longest WLTP range of around 379 miles, falling on higher-powered or option-heavy versions. Real-world efficiency sits lower than some rivals, but the 800 V system supports rapid DC top-ups of 10-80% in roughly 18 minutes at suitable chargers, plus a strong 22 kW AC rate for overnight or destination charging.

Servicing follows a 30,000 km or two-year schedule with multi-point checks, brake fluid and software updates. The limited dealer network in Europe means planning ahead for visits. Warranty cover is generous at five years or 150,000 km for the car and eight years or 200,000 km for the battery and drivetrain.

Crash testing by Euro NCAP has not yet occurred. Standard equipment covers the main active systems such as autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping aid, blind-spot detection, adaptive cruise, traffic-sign recognition and a full set of airbags including far-side and curtain units, plus stability and traction controls.

Ownership centres on the sparse Lotus service centres and the need to use authorised repairers for warranty work. Roadside assistance is included for the first five years. Software updates arrive over the air to refine features over time.
