Base models have manual air conditioning and a basic radio/CD system with auxiliary input. Higher grades add automatic climate control, often dual-zone with air filtration. The cabin prioritises support and space with six-way driver seat adjustment as standard and optional electric multi-way seats plus memory on higher grades. Seats offer strong side bolsters and under-thigh support for long drives. Optional panoramic sunroof brightens the interior while dual-zone climate control with filtration keeps air fresh. Heated front seats and heated steering wheel appear on mid and upper trims or packs. Rear stadium seating lifts passengers for better views with good leg and shoulder room.

The 2.2 TD4 diesel returns combined economy of 7.5 L/100 km on the manual with urban 9.2 L/100 km and extra-urban 6.2 L/100 km. Automatic versions use more fuel at around 8.5 L/100 km combined. Later models with stop-start improve these figures further.
Land Rover schedules an A service every 12 months or 15 000 miles covering oil filter and inspection. A B service follows at 24 months or 30 000 miles adding fuel and air filters. Timing belt and major fluids fall due at higher mileages or fixed years.
Crash tests gave five stars for adult protection with a strong monocoque cell and crumple zones. Standard kit includes seven airbags driver and passenger front side curtain and knee bags plus full electronic stability traction and descent controls.
Keep the car by following the A/B intervals and using low-SAPS oil on DPF models. Regular checks on the Haldex unit and belts help reliability on this permanent four-wheel-drive SUV.
