The sole powertrain is a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel making 154 kW and 440 Nm, matched to an 8-speed automatic. Claimed fuel economy sits in the low-to-mid 8 L/100 km range on the combined cycle for most dual-cab variants, with an 80-litre tank. Real-world figures depend on load, towing and terrain.
Servicing is required every 12 months or 15,000 km. Kia offers prepaid plans for three, five or seven years at fixed prices that vary slightly by 4x2, 4x4 or X-Pro. Roadside assistance renews annually with dealer servicing up to eight years. A DPF is fitted. AdBlue is not required.
Core dual-cab grades carry a five-star ANCAP rating from 2025 testing with strong adult and child scores. X-Line and X-Pro miss the rating because of their different front bumper. Every model gets a full suite of active safety systems including multi-mode AEB, highway driving assist on mid grades and above, surround or rear cameras, parking sensors and trailer-specific aids.
Ownership is straightforward with the long warranty covering the vehicle and genuine accessories. OTA software and map updates keep the systems current.
