Jaguar F-Type 2013–2019 dimensions, boot 207 L

Boot space with the seats up is 207 litres.

Jaguar F-Type 2013–2019 car dimensions: 4470 mm long, 1923 mm wide and 1308 mm high. Unladen weight is 1,540 kg. Boot space with the seats up is 207 litres.

The two-seat cockpit wraps around the driver with a low clutter-free dashboard and active central air vents that rise as needed. An 8-inch touchscreen handles navigation, audio, phone and climate functions as standard, later upgraded to 10-inch on some models. Automatic climate control is standard, usually single-zone with dual-zone optional. Cruise control with speed limiter is fitted. Rear parking sensors appear as standard or option early on, with front sensors and reversing camera in packs or standard later. Blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist and emergency braking arrived mid-run as options or packs on higher grades. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto became available from 2019 on Touch Pro equipped cars.

The roadster boot offers 207 litres, the same with the roof up or down. It takes a couple of soft bags for a weekend but the shape is shallow and awkward.

The cabin is a snug driver-focused 1+1 cockpit that wraps around you with a low fascia for a clear forward view. Standard Sport seats give good support while optional Performance seats add stronger lateral hold for spirited driving. Dual-zone climate control is available and heated seats come standard on higher grades or as options. Premium leather finishes are common and the fabric roof includes acoustic enhancement for quieter cruising with the top up.

Jaguar Care covers three years unlimited mileage warranty plus three years servicing

Fuel use varies with the engine choice. Smaller engines return better figures on the combined cycle while the V8s use more under hard driving. Intelligent Stop/Start is standard to cut consumption in traffic. The tank holds enough for long runs between fills.

Servicing follows a 16,000-mile or annual schedule with minor and major services alternating. Jaguar Care packages lock in the first three years of maintenance at no extra cost. Independent specialists can handle later work but factory intervals keep the supercharged engines healthy.

Safety equipment centres on core electronic aids plus an active bonnet. Later cars add autonomous emergency braking and lane departure warning as standard. Blind-spot monitoring and reverse traffic detection stay optional. The roadster uses fixed rollover hoops.

Keeping the car means watching the cooling system on supercharged models and budgeting for tyres and brakes after spirited use. The aluminium structure resists corrosion well and three-year warranties were standard with extensions available.
