The IONIQ 5 runs solely on electricity from its battery pack. Range and efficiency figures vary by battery size, drivetrain and wheels but the car uses no petrol or diesel.
Servicing is light because there is no engine oil. Intervals commonly sit at 24 months or 30,000 km with checks on brakes, cabin filter, coolants and reduction gear fluid at longer points. Brake fluid and filters need regular attention.
