The Si offers standard cruise control, power windows, power door locks with keyless entry, tilt power steering, and a 6-speaker AM/FM cassette audio system. An electric sliding sunroof with tilt is also standard. Automatic climate control is a manufacturer option, as are driver and passenger airbags, ABS, traction control with LSD, and a driver power seat. No advanced driver aids beyond optional ABS and TCS appear in the equipment lists.

The cabin features a visorless graphic meter panel spanning the width and a wrap-around dashboard that creates a cocooned, sporty feel for the driver and front passenger. The Si runs on unleaded regular gasoline from a 60 L tank. Official 10-mode figures stand at 12.0 km/L for the five-speed manual and lower for the automatic.
ABS and dual front SRS airbags are maker options rather than standard. Side-impact door beams and a high-mount stop lamp are fitted across the range. Three-point belts are standard front and rear.
