The cabin centres on a 15.4-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a 10.2-inch digital cluster. Automatic climate control includes a heat pump and rear vents as standard. Adaptive cruise, automatic emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane keep assist and a 360-degree surround camera with 3D view are fitted across the range. The EX5 is a pure electric SUV. Complete grade with the larger battery claims up to 475 km WLTP range and around 16.0 kWh/100 km energy use. DC fast charging reaches 30-80 percent in about 20 minutes at up to 100 kW. An 11 kW AC onboard charger is fitted along with a heat pump and V2L capability.
Servicing is due every 12 months or 20,000 km. Capped-price servicing is available for seven years. Roadside assistance runs up to seven years when the car is serviced in the network.
