The 296 GTS is a plug-in hybrid using a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 plus electric motor for 830 cv total. It holds 65 litres of fuel and offers roughly 25 km of pure electric driving. Published combined consumption figures sit between 6.7 l/100 km (153 g/km CO2) and 8.5 l/100 km (205 g/km CO2) depending on the test cycle and weighting.
Ferrari includes a 7-year Genuine Maintenance programme on the 296 GTS. It covers every scheduled service for the first seven years or 120,000 km, whichever comes first. Intervals are every 20,000 km or annually with no mileage limit. Work uses original parts and is done by Maranello-trained technicians at official dealers worldwide. The programme is also available on approved pre-owned cars.
Standard equipment includes the eSSC suite (eTC, eDiff, SCM, FDE 2.0, EPS, ABS Evo and 6w-CDS sensor), high-performance ABS/EBD with energy recovery, carbon-ceramic brakes, dual-stage front airbags, side airbags, seat-belt pretensioners, tyre-pressure monitoring, reverse camera and parking sensors.
Keeping the car means sticking to the included maintenance schedule to preserve performance and residual value. The hybrid battery and powertrain are covered under the standard three-year unlimited-mileage warranty (with longer hybrid-component terms in some markets). After the seven-year programme ends, owners can continue with factory-aligned servicing.
