Service every 12 months or 10,000-20,000 miles / 15,000-30,000 km depending on engine and market
Petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains available. diesels return the lowest official consumption figures
Fuel options cover 1.2 and 1.6 PureTech petrol, 1.5 and 2.0 BlueHDi diesel plus E-Tense plug-in hybrids. Official combined figures vary by engine and transmission. diesels are the most frugal on paper while hybrids deliver low weighted consumption when charged regularly.
Servicing follows a 12-month or mileage-based schedule that alternates minor and major work. Oil changes fall between 10,000 and 20,000 miles according to engine. Timing belts on certain petrol and diesel units need replacement around 100,000-120,000 miles or 10 years. Brake fluid every two years is typical.

Keeping the car means sticking to the service schedule and watching for common electronic glitches such as stop-start or parking-brake faults on older examples. A three-year/60,000-mile warranty was standard when new. extended cover and service plans remain available through the network.
