The cabin centres on a 15.4-inch 2.5K Sunflower touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus AR head-up display. The S05 REEV runs primarily as an electric vehicle with a 27.28 kWh LFP battery giving 170 km pure electric range under NEDC. A 1.5-litre range extender engine acts only as a generator, topping up the battery so total range exceeds 1,000 km on a full charge plus the 44.9-litre tank. DC fast charging takes the battery from 30-80% in about 20 minutes. AC charging is rated at 6.6 kW. Real-world fuel use when the extender runs is reported in the 20-24 km/L range depending on conditions and driving style.
Servicing follows the manufacturer’s schedule with a 5-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year/240,000 km battery warranty. Regenerative braking reduces wear on the friction brakes. The Golden Shield battery is IP68-rated for water and fire resistance and includes cloud diagnostics. Parts and service are available through the growing Changan dealer network across Pakistan.
