Cabin seats five with basic hard-wearing materials and simple controls. Higher trims add manual air conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, and a 7-inch MediaNav touchscreen. The screen brings Bluetooth, USB, aux and from later builds Apple CarPlay plus Android Auto. Rear parking sensors are standard on top grades. a reversing camera is optional there. No advanced driver aids appear in the equipment lists.
Boot offers 320 litres with seats up. Fold the 60/40 split rear bench and space rises to 1200 litres for larger loads.

Engines focus on low running costs. The range includes efficient three-cylinder petrols and a 1.5 diesel, with Stop & Start and an ECO mode on many versions to cut fuel use further when traffic or conditions allow.
The car is built for simple ownership. Higher-powered petrols use a timing chain that needs no routine replacement. A service indicator appears in the trip computer on better-equipped cars.
Safety kit is solid for the price. Front and side airbags, ABS, ESC, tyre-pressure monitoring and ISOFIX are standard across the range, backed by a stiff passenger cell and programmed crumple zones. It achieved four stars in Euro NCAP testing.
