The cabin has denser foam seats for better support and comfort, with more storage than before. Mid and higher trims get a 7-inch MediaNav touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth, USB and later Apple CarPlay plus Android Auto. Manual air conditioning is on lower grades while automatic climate control appears on Prestige. Cruise control and speed limiter are on Comfort and above. Rear parking sensors and camera come on Comfort, with multi-view camera and blind spot warning added on Prestige. No automatic emergency braking or lane keep assist is offered.
Boot space is 475 litres with seats up on 4x2 models, rising to 1,636 litres seats down. 4x4 versions offer a bit less due to the rear suspension and spare wheel.
Braked towing capacity reaches 1,500 kg across most versions, with unbraked around 650 kg. Payload is up to 550 kg. The front suspension is strengthened for off-road work and 4x4 models use multi-link rear suspension, giving high ground clearance suited to light towing and rough tracks.
Seats use denser foam with longer cushions and better lateral support. Driver's seat has height adjustment and lumbar support plus armrest on mid and higher grades. Cabin noise is reduced with thicker front glass and more sound-absorbing materials. Manual air conditioning is common. automatic climate control appears on higher grades. Heated front seats are available on top grades. The cabin feels practical and improved over the prior model with more storage and easier controls.

Servicing follows a schedule of roughly yearly or every 12,000 to 18,000 miles depending on engine and conditions. Oil changes are key. diesel intervals can extend further with oil-quality monitoring. Chain-driven engines need less frequent major work than belt ones.
Safety kit starts with six airbags including curtains, ABS, ESC, seatbelt reminders and ISOFIX. Higher grades add blind-spot warning, multi-view camera and later automatic emergency braking. The 2017 Euro NCAP score is three stars, limited mainly by assist systems rather than structure.
The car is straightforward to keep with durable materials and simple equipment. Regular dealer or independent services maintain the warranty. 4x4 versions add hill-descent control for tougher use.
