The cabin has a 12.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a digital cockpit. Three-zone climate control is standard. Blind-spot warning with exit assist and a reversing camera sit on higher trims or packs.

Petrol engines return WLTP combined figures starting at 5.8-6.5 l/100 km for the 1.5 TSI and eTSI mild hybrids. Plug-in hybrids drop to 0.4-0.5 l/100 km in charge-sustaining mode with electric range over 100 km. Performance VZ models use more fuel under hard driving.
Routine servicing covers oil and filter changes at the stated intervals. CUPRA Care packages bundle these with other maintenance. The factory warranty runs five years or 90,000 miles and can be extended.
Euro NCAP awards the maximum five stars. Standard kit includes front, side, curtain and centre airbags plus forward collision warning with automatic braking for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, lane-keeping assist, attention and drowsiness monitoring, and traffic-sign recognition. Higher packs add adaptive cruise, side assist and pre-crash functions.
