The Max gets a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus voice recognition. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard. The 48 V mild-hybrid pairs a 1.2-litre turbo petrol with a small electric motor and dual-clutch gearbox. It runs electric for more than half of city driving and cuts fuel use and CO2 by around 20 percent versus a non-hybrid petrol. The tank holds 50 litres.
Service intervals are 25 000 km or 12 months. The engine uses a timing chain so there are no belt replacements. Warranty is three years or 100 000 km. Prepaid FlexCare packs cover scheduled visits including the 48 V battery check.
Standard safety covers six airbags, stability and traction control, hill-start assist and tyre-pressure warning. Max adds the full Drive Assist set: autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise with stop-go, active lane-keep, blind-spot alert, traffic-sign recognition and intelligent headlights.
