Braked towing is 2,000 kg.

Citroën C-Crosser 2007–2012 car dimensions: 4645 mm long, 1805 mm wide and 1715 mm high. Unladen weight is 1,750 kg. Braked towing is 2,000 kg.

Automatic climate control is standard across the range. Cruise control is also standard. Rear parking sensors are standard on Exclusive grades and optional on lower ones via packs. A 7-inch touchscreen forms part of the optional navigation system. The reversing camera is available only with that navigation option. No automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning or lane keep systems appear in the equipment lists.

Boot volume is 441 litres with the second-row seats in place, rising to 1686 litres when they are folded flat. A split tailgate helps with loading larger items. Seven-seat versions leave far less space behind the third row.

Braked towing capacity reaches 2000 kg on the diesel versions and unbraked capacity is 750 kg. Payload sits at around 695 kg depending on the exact model. The selectable four-wheel-drive system and solid build make it usable for light towing and occasional work duties, though no heavy-duty cooling or reinforced suspension packages are listed.

The cabin feels roomy and practical with a flexible 5+2 seating layout on higher grades, where the third row folds flat into the floor. Comfortable sport seats come in cloth or leather, with height adjustment standard and multi-way electric adjustment plus heating for the driver on Exclusive. Automatic climate control is standard across the range, along with multiple storage areas, cupholders, and a split tailgate for easy loading. An optional electric sliding sunroof is available on top trims to brighten the interior.

Selectable 2WD/4WD/lock drive modes standard

The 2.2 HDi diesel delivers combined fuel use of 7.0 to 7.3 l/100 km depending on gearbox, with a 60-litre tank. Petrol versions sit higher at around 8.8 to 9.1 l/100 km combined. Both benefit from the on-demand four-wheel-drive system that can run in two-wheel drive for efficiency.

Servicing follows a schedule of every 20 000 km or once a year. Oil and filter changes form the core of each visit, with additional items like air filter, fuel filter and brake fluid at longer intervals. A service indicator on the dash tracks remaining distance and time.

Safety kit is comprehensive as standard: dual front airbags, front side airbags, curtain airbags for front and second row, ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution, and ESP with traction control. ISOFIX anchors are fitted on the outer second-row seats, and seat-belt pretensioners with force limiters are included.

Living with the car centres on its modular interior that switches easily between passenger and load space, plus the split tailgate that lowers the loading height. The aluminium roof helps keep weight down, and the dual-clutch or manual gearboxes pair with the diesel for straightforward daily use. Regular maintenance keeps the particulate filter and four-wheel-drive system in good order.
