The cabin seats five in a crew cab with dual-zone automatic climate control and rear vents. An 11-inch or 17.7-inch touchscreen is fitted depending on grade, with wireless phone projection on work truck models. Adaptive cruise control is standard along with lane keep assist, blind zone steering assist, enhanced automatic emergency braking, reverse automatic braking, rear park assist and HD surround vision camera system. Super Cruise hands-free driving is available on higher grades.
The 5-foot-11-inch bed holds 1634 litres. An eTrunk under the hood adds 303 litres of lockable storage. Available Multi-Flex Midgate opens the cab to the bed for loads up to just over 9 feet with the tailgate up, or 10 feet 10 inches with the Multi-Flex Tailgate.
Maximum braked towing is 10000 pounds or 4536 kg with integrated trailer brake controller and Tow/Haul mode standard. Payload reaches up to 1500 pounds or 680 kg on RST and 4WT grades. Independent suspension is standard, with four-corner air ride adaptive suspension on RST for load levelling and ride height adjustment.
PowerBase offboard power supplies up to 10.2 kW from bed and cab outlets for worksite tools when equipped. Four-wheel steering on higher grades cuts the turning circle for easier manoeuvring when loaded or trailering.
The cabin is spacious with a flat rear floor and generous legroom for adults in both rows. Work Truck grades use durable vinyl and manual seats for easy cleaning on job sites. RST grades add soft-touch materials, 12-way power front seats with lumbar, heated and ventilated fronts, heated rear outboard seats, a heated flat-bottom wheel, dual-zone climate with rear vents, and a fixed panoramic glass roof that opens up the space with natural light.

This all-electric pickup draws power from large Ultium lithium-ion battery packs. Level 2 AC charging supports up to 19.2 kW for roughly 34 miles of range per hour. DC fast charging reaches up to 350 kW on higher grades, adding about 100 miles in 10 minutes. Range estimates run from 393 miles on the smaller pack to 450 miles on the larger one, varying slightly by trim and conditions. One-pedal driving and regenerative braking help maximize efficiency in daily use.
Servicing needs are lighter than gas trucks. Expect tire rotations every 7,500 miles along with multi-point checks. The cabin filter lasts about 22,500 miles or two years. Brake fluid changes come every five years, and the thermal coolant system needs service at 150,000 miles or five years. Electric drive unit fluid may need attention under severe use around 45,000 miles. The first maintenance visit covering a tire rotation and inspection is complimentary in the initial year.
Safety equipment is extensive across the lineup. Standard features cover automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, intersection braking, rear cross-traffic braking, blind-zone steering assist, lane keep with departure warning, adaptive cruise, traffic sign recognition, and a full set of airbags including front, side, and curtain. RST adds enhanced parking assist, driver attention assist, and Super Cruise hands-free driving capable of trailering. Crash-test ratings from NHTSA and IIHS are not yet available.
Ownership centers on battery health and software. The high-voltage battery carries an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty transferable to later owners. Regular tire care and cabin filter changes keep the ride quiet and air clean. Over-the-air updates handle many software items. Dealers handle high-voltage work. The truck’s offboard power outlets let it supply tools or home backup, adding everyday utility while plugged in or under way.
