The cabin has a rotating touchscreen of 12.8 or 15.6 inches by grade, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 10.25-inch digital cluster. Driver aids include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane keep assist with departure prevention and emergency keeping, plus a 360-degree camera and front/rear parking sensors as standard. Front seats are power-adjustable with heating and ventilation on higher grades.

The pickup tray holds 1200 litres with approximate dimensions of 1520 mm long by 1500 mm wide by 517 mm deep.

Braked towing is rated at 2500 kg on most grades with 750 kg unbraked, rising to 3500 kg braked on the Performance grade. Payload is around 790 kg depending on specification and market.

The double-wishbone suspension and AWD with terrain modes support work and light off-road use, while V2L provides power for tools on site.

The cabin uses soft-touch materials and imitation or vegan leather with orange stitching accents. Front seats are multi-way power adjustable, with lumbar on higher grades, and feel supportive with good under-thigh options on the driver side. Higher trims add heating and ventilation to the front seats. Soundproof glass on the front doors helps keep the interior quiet. Dual-zone climate control with rear vents, a large rotating touchscreen, digital cluster, HUD on upper grades, Dynaudio speakers, and plenty of rear legroom and a flat floor make it feel spacious and refined for a pickup. No panoramic roof or heated steering wheel.

Claimed fuel use 2.0 L/100 km with battery SOC 25-100 percent, rising to 7.9 L/100 km below that. 60 L tank.

Service every 12 months or 20,000 km.

Five-star ANCAP rating (adult 85 percent, child 87 percent, vulnerable road user 74 percent, safety assist 86 percent).

Seven airbags including far-side, AEB, adaptive cruise, lane keep with emergency assist, blind-spot detection, cross-traffic alert/brake, 360 camera, ISOFIX, TPMS, hill hold/descent.

The DMO plug-in hybrid uses a 1.5T or 2.0T petrol engine plus dual electric motors and a Blade battery around 29.6 kWh. Official figures show low fuel use when the battery holds charge above 25 percent, with combined ranges quoted over 670-800 km depending on cycle and market. Real-world use rises once the battery depletes but stays competitive for a dual-cab pickup. AC charging is 7 kW and DC up to 55 kW on most versions, plus V2L output.

Servicing is scheduled every 12 months or 20,000 km. The vehicle carries a six-year/150,000 km warranty and the high-voltage battery an eight-year/160,000 km warranty. Capped-price servicing is available for multiple years in markets that publish it.

Safety equipment is extensive across the range. It includes seven airbags, automatic emergency braking, adaptive and intelligent cruise control, lane departure warning and prevention with emergency keeping, blind-spot detection, front and rear cross-traffic alert and brake, door-open warning, traffic-sign recognition, driver fatigue monitor, 360-degree camera, parking sensors, trailer stability control, and child presence detection plus ISOFIX. The structure uses high-strength steel and cell-to-chassis battery integration. ANCAP awarded five stars based on 2024-2025 testing.

Living with the Shark 6 means regular charging to keep fuel use low, standard hybrid maintenance at the stated intervals, and reliance on the full ADAS suite plus the solid chassis for daily and light off-road use. Higher grades add comfort items such as ventilated seats while the core safety and hybrid hardware remain consistent.
