The Seal 5 DM-i pairs a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor and Blade Battery under 5th-generation Super DM-i. Official figures list a 65-liter tank, 55 km pure-electric range and 1,600 km combined range. An AAP-certified efficiency run reached 2,181 km on a full charge and tank. Charging uses a 3.3 kW Type 2 AC system taking about 2.5 hours from 15% to 100%. A portable cable and wall-mounted charger are included.
Servicing is once a year. Five-year PMS costs are stated as lower than comparable sedans by about 44.5%.
Safety kit covers dual front airbags on the Essential and six airbags (adding side) on the Dynamic.
