BYD Atto 2 DM-i 2026– car dimensions: 4330 mm long, 1830 mm wide and 1675 mm high. Unladen weight is 1,510 kg. Boot space with the seats up is 433 litres.

Both DM-i grades get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control with rear vents, and a touchscreen (10.1-inch on Dynamic, 12.8-inch on Premium) plus an 8.8-inch digital cluster and six speakers. Cruise control is standard. Premium upgrades to adaptive cruise as part of DiPilot. Dynamic uses a rear-view camera and four rear parking sensors. Premium adds a 360° camera with see-through mode, six parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure assist, emergency lane-keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, and high-beam assist. Daily use is straightforward: keyless entry and start, USB ports front and rear, and clear parking aids on the base grade, with fuller highway assists only on Premium.

Boot holds 433 litres with the rear seats up and expands to 1,335 litres with the 60:40 split rear seats folded. Side cubbies and a false floor leave room for a tyre kit and small gear. Useful for weekend bags or a compact family load, though the bay is not especially deep or flexible beyond the split fold.

The cabin feels practical and roomy for a subcompact with a flat floor aiding rear passenger space and legroom. Automatic climate control and rear vents keep things comfortable. Higher grades add a panoramic roof that floods the space with light plus power-adjustable front seats and a heated steering wheel for easier long drives. Fabric or leather seats pair with digital screens for a modern everyday feel.
